'Positives in Negatives'

A young woman was sitting at her dining table, worried about taxes to be paid, house-work to be done and to top it all, her family was coming over for Thanks giving the next day. She was not feeling very thankful at that time.

As she turned her gaze sideways, she noticed her young daughter scribbling furiously into her notebook.

“My teacher asked us to write a paragraph on “Negative Thanks giving” for homework today.”

said the daughter

“She asked us to write down things that we are thankful for, things that make us feel not so good in the beginning, but turn out to be good after all.”

With curiosity, the mother peeked into the book. This is what her daughter wrote:

“I’m thankful for Final Exams, because that means school is almost over.
I’m thankful for bad-tasting medicine, because it helps me feel better.
I’m thankful for waking up to alarm clocks, because it means I’m still alive.”

It then dawned on the mother, that she had a lot of things to be thankful for!

She thought again…

She had to pay taxes but that meant she was fortunate to be employed. She had house-work to do but that meant she had her own home to live in.
She had to cook for her family for Thanks giving but that meant she had a family with whom she could celebrate.

Moral:

We generally complain about the negative things in life but we fail to look at the positive side of it. What is the positive in your negatives?

Look at the better part of life this day and make it a great day"

I am happy n blessed

People come and go…but ... Life goes on...

No matter how much we don’t like to admit it, but a few people can make a big impact on our lives but then go away just like that; a best friend, lover, family member…anyone of them….As much as we may wish it weren’t so, a plain fact of human relationships is this: People come and people go.

Someone that we have loved with all of our hearts one day can, quite literally, vanish from our lives the next. Not necessarily from death. Not even from rancor. Sometimes simple circumstance can take a best friend, a lover or a partner right out of your hands, never to be seen again.

That’s sad. But that’s life.

There are times that I sit in the sun and just think of all the people who have wandered away from me. I remember all of the people that I have wandered away from. And then I wonder, will there ever be a time when they might reconnect?may be yes…may be no…

“People come, people go – they’ll drift in and out of your life, almost like characters in a favorite book. When you finally close the cover, the characters have told their story and you start up again with another book, complete with new characters and adventures. Then you find yourself focusing on the new ones, not the ones from the past.”

There’s a quote that goes something like, “People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime,” which really resonates with my life.

Instead of dwelling on the pain of saying goodbye to a friendship, look at it as a chapter that was filled with many memories and now lessons that will forever live with you. Sometimes we are welcomed by friendships that aren’t meant to last forever, but are meant to teach us and help us grow on our beautiful journeys.
On the contrary, sometimes we have to learn when to let go and continue on our journey. It takes courage to stand up and realize that sometimes you need to move forward.

Life is mysterious and relationships are just another addition to our journey. Through the ups and the downs we must appreciate it, for it’s all a part of who we are today. Not one of us goes through life experiencing perfect relationships; in fact, the only way to uncover life’s treasures is to experience them.
Yes, people do come and enter your life then after sometime, they would leave and that’s it. It was over. It still doesn’t make sense to me but one thing I know is certain. There is always a reason why you knew them. It must not be clear for you that moment but sooner or later, you will discover it.

Stay happy,stay blessed :)

Dealing with difficult people

Finally after a real long time…got back into my senses…and decided to say goodbye to those people who are really not contributing in my journey of life in a positive way….

Have u ever felt irritated with the mere presence of some person…???

There are many such persons whom we cannot ignore yet cant stand their behavior…and have to deal with that so called know-it-all bullshit for a real long time…
and then somewhere it starts degrading us as a person…degrading emotionally…

Here are series of mistakes i made while i did that :
i thought it will be okay as time passes{it only got worse}
ignored the hidden signs {its always good to have a loyal enemy than friend with malafide intentions}
cold wars {cold wars are of no good…it only take your peace away}
Remember that you don’t have to be close with everyone; just being polite goes a long way toward getting along and appropriately dealing with difficult people.
that’s what i exactly did…i chose to be happy…i chose to be peaceful…it only took a call to avoid this…its we who complicate things and crib about it…nothing can really bother us if we really are firm on our stand….
finally said goodbye to those unwanted irritating people…. :)

life is too short to be sad or disturbed :)

"Eleven Hints for Life"

1. The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.

2. It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.

3. Don't go for looks, they can deceive. Don't go for wealth, even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright.

4. It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone-but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.

5. It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return. But what is more painful is to love someone and never find the courage to let that person know how you feel.

6. A sad thing in life is when you meet someone who means a lot to you, only to find out in the end that it was never meant to be and you just have to let go.

7. Always put yourself in the other's shoes. If you feel that it hurts you, it probably hurts the person too.

8. A careless word may kindle strife. A cruel word may wreck a life. A timely word may level stress. But a loving word may heal and bless.

9. Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go, be what you want to be. Because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do.

10. The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.

11. Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, ends with a tear. When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die, you're the one smiling and everyone around you is crying.

Yeh dil tuta tha
Tutne ke baad kisi ne parwah bhi nahi ki iski
Bechare ko bahut dukh hua
Bahut roya
Bahut dukhi hua :(

Kitney saal beet gaye kisi ne bhi isko nahi pucha
Phir yeh Bechara khud utha
Phir se kisi ko talashne chala
Aur isko who mila
Jisney isey gale se lagaya
Phir se jod diya
Aur iske saare dukh dur kar diya
Phir yeh dil bahut mazbut ho gaya
Aur dusru ko bhi issey mila raha hai
Iss dil ko apne God Ji mil gaye
Jo issey sabse zyada pyar kartey hai
Phir iss dil ne socha main kyu iss duniya ke liye rota hu
Main kyu iss duniya ke wajah se rota hu
Jab yeh duniya bananey wala mujhse itna pyar karta hai to main kyu na issey pyar kar lu

Bas phir kya tha iss dil ko apne Bhagwan se pyar ho gaya
Aur ussey sab kuch mil gaya❤❤

Dil se... (frm Heart) !!

I was once sad and lonely,
Having nobody to comfort me,
So I wore a mask that always smiled;
To hide my feelings behind a lie.

Before long, I had many friends;
With my mask, I was one of them.
But deep inside, I still felt empty,
Like I was missing a part of me.

Nobody could hear my cries at night
For I designed my mask to hide the lies.
Nobody could see the pain I was feeling
For I designed my mask to be laughing.

Behind all the smiles were the tears
And behind all the comfort were the fears.
Everything you think you see,
Wasn't everything there was to me.

Day by day,
I was slowly dying.
I couldn't go on,
There was something missing..

Until now I'm still searching
For the thing that'll stop my crying.
For someone who'll erase my fears,
For the person who'll wipe my tears.

But till then I'll keep on smiling.
Hiding behind this mask I'm wearing.
Hoping one day I can smile,
Till then, I'll be here.. waiting.

Things To Stop Caring About Today

Every day is a new beginning. But in life, sometimes you have to stop before you can truly begin. So starting today…

Stop caring about everyone’s opinion of you.
For the most part, what other people think and say about you doesn’t matter.
Unless you’re trying to make a great first impression (job interview, first date, etc.), don’t let the opinions of others stand in your way. What they think and say about you isn’t important. What is important is how you feel about yourself.

Stop caring about being politically correct.
Everyone has this little watchdog inside their head. It’s always there watching you. It was born and raised by your family, friends, coworkers, bosses and society at large, and its sole purpose is to watch you and make sure you stay in line. And once you become accustomed to the watchdog’s presence, you begin to think his opinion of what’s acceptable and unacceptable are absolute truths. But the watchdog’s views are not truths, they’re just opinions – forceful opinions that have the potential to completely brainwash you of your own opinions if you aren’t careful.
Remember, the watchdog is just a watchdog, he just watches. He can’t actually control you. He can’t do anything about it if you decide to rise up and go against the grain.
No, you should not start randomly cussing and acting like a fool. But you must say what you need to say when you need to say it. If it isn’t politically correct, so what.
Don’t censor yourself. Speak the truth. Your truth.

Stop caring about looking a certain way.
There is no right way to dress or right way to wear your hair. No, I’m not saying to you should dress like a clown simply to rebel either. Everyone who purposely tries to look different ends up looking the same.
Be you, just the way you are, in the unique way only you know how. Wear clothes and styles you feel comfortable wearing. Dress the way YOU dress.
You’re a one of a kind. Trying to look like someone else is a waste of your own beauty. In this crazy world that’s trying to make you like everyone else, find the courage to keep being your awesome self.

Stop caring about what everyone else wants for you.
“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma, which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice, heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”

Stop caring about the boundaries others set up.
No matter how much progress you make there will always be the people who insist that whatever you’re trying to do is impossible.
When you come across these people, don’t try to reason with them. Instead, forget that they exist. They will only waste your time and energy.
Whenever somebody discredits you and tells you that you can’t do something, keep in mind that they are speaking from within the boundaries of their own limitations. Ignore them and move on.

Stop caring about what everyone else has.
Instead, appreciate where you are and what you have right now. Try comparing yourself to those who have less, those who are dealing with tragedy, and those who are struggling to survive. Hopefully it opens your eyes to all the things you should be grateful for.

Stop caring about the imaginary state of perfect.
Many of us are perfectionists in our own right. We set high bars for ourselves and put our best foot forward. We dedicate copious amounts of time and attention to our work to maintain our high personal standards. Our passion for excellence drives us to run the extra mile, never stopping, never relenting. And this dedication towards perfection undoubtedly helps us to achieve results… So long as we don’t get carried away.
Remember, the real world doesn’t reward perfectionists. It rewards people who get things done. And the only way to get things done is to be imperfect 99% of the time. Only by wading through years of practice and imperfection can we begin to achieve momentary glimpses of the perfection.
Perfect is the enemy of good.

Stop caring about being right all the time.
We all dance to the beat of a different drum. There are few absolute ‘rights’ and ‘wrongs’ in the world. What’s right for you may be wrong for me, and vise versa. People need to live their lives their way – the way that’s right for them.

When it comes to life choices and opinions, not much is worth fighting about. Step back from arguments with your spouse, family members or neighbors. When you feel anger surging up and you want to yell that vulgar remark on tip of your tongue, just close your mouth and walk away. Let mind calm down. You don’t have to be right or win an argument.
Instead, open your mind to new ideas and opinions. Don’t just concentrate on what others are doing, spend time figuring out why they are doing what they’re doing.

Stop caring about mistakes.
Mistakes teach you important lessons. The biggest mistake you can make is doing nothing because you’re too scared to make a mistake. So don’t hesitate – don’t doubt yourself. In life, it’s rarely about getting a chance; it’s about taking a chance. You’ll never be 100% sure it will work, but you can always be 100% sure doing nothing won’t work. Most of the time you just have to go for it!
And no matter how it turns out, it always ends up just the way it should be. Either you succeed or you learn something. Win-Win. Remember, if you never act, you will never know for sure, and you will be left standing in the same spot forever.

Stop caring about things you can’t control.
Some forces are out of your control. Accept this fact of life. Wasting your time, talent and emotional energy on things that are beyond your control is a recipe for frustration, misery and stagnation.
The smartest thing you can do to compensate for the things you can’t control is adjusting your attitude. Your attitude has a profound effect on your overall potential. Consuming yourself with the negative aspects of a circumstance gets nothing productive accomplished. But if you instead look at the circumstance productively and positively, coming from the standpoint of “What’s my next best move?” you put yourself back in the driver’s seat.
Bottom line: As Maria Robinson once said, “Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.” You can’t change what happened, but you can change how you react to it. If you awake every morning with the thought that something wonderful will happen in your life today, and you pay close attention, you’ll often find that you’re right. The opposite is also true. The choice is yours to make.

A question that makes you think is worth asking…
